Chocolate Covered Strawberries Made In An Ice Cube Tray

  • Mar 17, 2019

Chocolate-covered strawberries. In an ice cube tray. Isn’t this just the cutest idea ever?

I discovered this clever recipe on Pinterest awhile back and made it recently for a wine tasting I attended. They are super easy to make and quite inexpensive.

The Cost

I paid less than $5.00 for a whole tray of these delectable treats. These are the perfect little snacks for any of the following get-togethers:

Spa night
Wine tastings
Bridal showers
Baby showers

How To Get Them To Pop Right Out Of The Tray

I was a little leery about popping these out of the ice cube tray, fearing that they would stick or fall apart completely, but I had no problem at all.

The trick is to refrigerate them long enough so they set – at least an hour. Once they’re completely cool, they will pop right out when you twist the tray in opposite directions.

The best part about these chocolate-covered strawberries? Less mess than traditional dipped strawberries. You can literally prepare these in five minutes, forget about them, then pop them out once your guests arrive. Easy as pie.

Actually, it’s easier than pie.
